April was a hold. First one in a while. I noticed how much of my decision making over the past year had just been reacting to the RBA calendar, and how strange it felt to have a month without a new number to respond to.
Used the pause to actually think instead. Went through every property, every loan, every assumption I'd been making since last year. Some of it held up. Some of it didn't.
The biggest thing I changed wasn't a property decision at all. It was refinancing one loan onto a better structure, something I'd been meaning to do for eight months and kept not getting around to because there was always a more urgent fire.
A hold isn't a signal. It's just a pause. But a pause is when the actual work gets done, if you let it.
